Robert Mondavi Private Selection - Fragant notes of apricot, rose and citrus with sweet honey and crisp apple flavors. Winemaker's Notes:
Our 2005 Riesling exudes the fresh apple, pear, orange blossom and litchi fruit aromas that make Rieslings grown in cool-climates so delightful. Monterey Countyís long, cool growing season produced grapes with especially concentrated flavors, giving our 2005 Riesling an impressive weight on the palate, despite its moderate alcohol content. This richly-flavored wine tastes great with a broad range of dishes, including smoked salmon, garlic shrimp, roast turkey, ham and pork, spicy sausages, and Pacific Rim cuisines. Itís also delicious on its own or with fresh fruit and cheese.
